Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX17 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated COX17 data layer compared with 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher COX17 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COX17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and DLBC show a favorable association.

COAD, KICH, and HNSC are the cancer types where COX17 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
