COX10

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COX10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of COX10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where COX10 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types COX10 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, KICH, and COAD are the cancer types where COX10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
