Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CORO2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CORO2A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CORO2A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CORO2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, PRAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where CORO2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
