Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COQ8B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COQ8B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher COQ8B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COQ8B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where COQ8B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
