COMP

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, COMP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,677 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible COMP-associated genes across cancer lineages are LTBP2, GLT8D2, and ISLR. Each is linked with COMP in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both COMP-to-partner and partner-to-COMP results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, COMP versus LTBP2 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.61.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (COMP→partner) and Y-score (partner→COMP) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
