Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL4A6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated COL4A6 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher COL4A6 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL4A6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and PRAD show a favorable association.
LGG, HNSC, and SCLC are the cancer types where COL4A6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
