Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL4A3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COL4A3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher COL4A3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL4A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, PRAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where COL4A3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
