Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL4A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COL4A3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher COL4A3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL4A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.
LUAD, LSCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where COL4A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
