Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL4A1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COL4A1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher COL4A1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL4A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where COL4A1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
