Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL18A1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated COL18A1-AS1 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher COL18A1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL18A1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.

UVM, HNSC, and ACC are the cancer types where COL18A1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
