Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL13A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COL13A1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher COL13A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL13A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, ESCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where COL13A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
