Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL11A1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated COL11A1 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher COL11A1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL11A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and DLBC show a favorable association.

UVM, KIRP, and MESO are the cancer types where COL11A1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
