Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, COL10A1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated COL10A1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher COL10A1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated COL10A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.
PDAC, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where COL10A1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
