Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CNTNAP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CNTNAP3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CNTNAP3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CNTNAP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where CNTNAP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
