Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CNBD2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CNBD2 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CNBD2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CNBD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and KIRC show a favorable association.
UVM, UCS, and KIRC are the cancer types where CNBD2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
