Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CMTM7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CMTM7 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher CMTM7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CMTM7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, ESCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where CMTM7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
