Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CMBL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CMBL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher CMBL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CMBL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and SCLC are the cancer types where CMBL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
