Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLUL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLUL1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CLUL1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLUL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, CESC, and OV are the cancer types where CLUL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
