Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLPTM1L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLPTM1L data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher CLPTM1L Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLPTM1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, UCEC, and ESCA are the cancer types where CLPTM1L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
