Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLMN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLMN data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher CLMN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLMN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where CLMN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
