Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLIP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLIP3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CLIP3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLIP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, COAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where CLIP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
