Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLIC6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLIC6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher CLIC6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLIC6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where CLIC6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
