Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLEC5A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLEC5A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher CLEC5A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLEC5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
OV, ESCA, and ACC are the cancer types where CLEC5A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
