Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLEC4E Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLEC4E data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CLEC4E Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLEC4E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, ESCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where CLEC4E Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
