Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLEC2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLEC2B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher CLEC2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLEC2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
PDAC and GBM are the cancer types where CLEC2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
