Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLEC16A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLEC16A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher CLEC16A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLEC16A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, READ, and BLCA are the cancer types where CLEC16A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
