Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLDN7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLDN7 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CLDN7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLDN7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and LIHC are the cancer types where CLDN7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
