Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CKAP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CKAP2 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CKAP2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CKAP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.
LUAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where CKAP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
