Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CITED4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CITED4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CITED4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CITED4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where CITED4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
