Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CIRBP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CIRBP data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CIRBP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CIRBP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, KIRC, and COAD are the cancer types where CIRBP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
