Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CILK1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CILK1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher CILK1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CILK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
THYM, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where CILK1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
