CIC

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, CIC mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,966 significant associations in total. LGG shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CIC-associated genes across cancer lineages are NCAPH2, GBP5, and ING2. Each is linked with CIC in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CIC-to-partner and partner-to-CIC results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, NCAPH2 grouped by CIC-low versus CIC-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CIC→partner) and Y-score (partner→CIC) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
