Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CIAO2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CIAO2A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher CIAO2A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CIAO2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where CIAO2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
