Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHSY1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHSY1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CHSY1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHSY1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CHSY1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
