Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHST7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHST7 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher CHST7 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHST7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

LSCC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where CHST7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
