Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHST5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHST5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CHST5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHST5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, KIRP, and LUSC are the cancer types where CHST5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
