Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHRNB4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHRNB4 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CHRNB4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHRNB4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where CHRNB4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
