Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHORDC1P5 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CHORDC1P5’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where CHORDC1P5 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CHORDC1P5 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, KICH, and THCA are the cancer types where CHORDC1P5 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
