Across TCGA patient cohorts, CHMP5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,220 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CHMP5-associated genes across cancer lineages are TOPORS, SMU1, and B4GALT1-AS1. Each is linked with CHMP5 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CHMP5-to-partner and partner-to-CHMP5 results are reported.
