Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHMP2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHMP2B data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CHMP2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHMP2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, CESC, and TGCT are the cancer types where CHMP2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
