Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHMP1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHMP1B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CHMP1B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHMP1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CHMP1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
