Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHFR mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHFR data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CHFR mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHFR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and PDAC show a favorable association.
UCEC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where CHFR mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
