Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHCHD7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHCHD7 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher CHCHD7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHCHD7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD are the cancer types where CHCHD7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
