Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHCHD6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHCHD6 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher CHCHD6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHCHD6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and GBM are the cancer types where CHCHD6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
