Across TCGA patient cohorts, CHCHD5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,786 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CHCHD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLC43A1, GPHA2, and SRSF12. Each is linked with CHCHD5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CHCHD5-to-partner and partner-to-CHCHD5 results are reported.
