Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CFL1P8 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CFL1P8’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where CFL1P8 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CFL1P8 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD, KIRC, and LUAD are the cancer types where CFL1P8 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
