Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CFHR2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CFHR2 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher CFHR2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CFHR2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and SCLC show a favorable association.
CHOL, PAAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where CFHR2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
