Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CFAP221 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CFAP221 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CFAP221 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CFAP221 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where CFAP221 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
