Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CETP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CETP data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher CETP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CETP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
THCA, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where CETP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
