Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CES5AP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CES5AP1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher CES5AP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CES5AP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV are the cancer types where CES5AP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
